Help Save the Bears
WSPA - World Society for the Protection of
Animals
As his gall bladder is drained of bile, the bear often
cries out in agony as the wound in his side is reopened.
The extraction of the bile can occur up to twice a
day. This is the grim reality of the Bear Farming
Industry. Highly profitable, it occurs throughout
Asia to satisfy the demand for Bear Bile in Traditional
Chinese Medicine, which holds that bear bile can cure
many human ailments from fevers to heart disease.
Herbal alternatives are readily available yet over
12,000 bears continue to suffer in Asia. With the
help of its supporters WSPA, the World
Society for the Protection of Animals,
has been tirelessly campaigning to end this inhumane
practice. Please support us today as we work towards
stamping out this cruelty.

Dancing
Bears in India
The dancing bears of India are nothing more than a cruel
tradition which should be outlawed. The dancing bears
“career” begins when they are mere cubs
around the age of five weeks old, when they are cruelly
snatched from before theirs mothers eyes and can do
nothing but watch as the poachers slaughter their mother.
Chinese
Bear Farms
When you think of the bear, the majority of people would
think of them ambling down the slopes of a hill from
the woodland towards the stream, pausing at the waters
edge, looking intently before swiping with a huge clawed
paw and scooping dinner up out of the water.

Bear Parks
Bear parks, though do not sound too much of problems,
but the suffering of bears in those bear parks are quite
noticeable.
The Brown Bear
Brown bears, also known as Ursus arctos, are found in
extremely small numbers from Western Europe and Palestine
to eastern Siberia and the Himalayan region.
The Black Bear
In North America, three kinds of bears are found namely
The Black, Grizzly and Polar Bear. However, the American
black bear, also known as the cinnamon bear, is most
common among all and also is the smallest.
The Polar Bear
Polar bears or Ursus maritimus, also referred as white
bear, northern bear, or sea bear, is a large bear due
to its big and heavy size. It is found throughout the
Arctic surrounding the North Pole.
Save the Marsican
Bear
The Marsican Bear is one of the rarest bears on the
planet, with estimates that there are just 40 individual
bears in existence. However, while they are rare and
beautiful creatures, beekeepers and farmers in Italy
- where the Bear resides - are not so happy.
